Maddy writes about her own experiences with bullying and mental health, which makes her lyrics honest and inspiring. She hopes that people can relate to her music on a personal level. Her song “Sanity” explains her experiences with anxiety and how she has gotten through hard times. Maddy’s musical and songwriting influences include Jewel, Leona Lewis, and Demi Lovato.
